Our annual Flu Clinic will be held on Saturday
18th October 2008 at St Edyth’s Church Hall. Please contact the
surgery to book an appointment.

We would like to welcome Dr Esther Goddard GP Registrar to the
practice. Dr Goddard will be with us until August 2009.

We have extended our opening hours and we now
offer a range of early morning and late evening appointments.
You can now book some appointments on line, please call in to
the surgery to register for this service.

Extension to Premises at Sea Mills Surgery
In order to continue to provide excellent,
effective and caring health services to our patients we would
like to extend our premises. The proposed extension will
include:
1. An onsite Pharmacy
2. Two additional Consulting Rooms
3. Increased administration space
4. Some additional parking

Health Visiting Team
Unfortunately there will not be an Health Visitor on duty at
the practice on Wednesday afternoons from 5th March 2008.
You may visit the Health Visiting Team at any of the following
venues:
Avonmouth Medical Centre 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month from
2pm to 3.30pm.
Shirehampton Health Centre Tuesdays 1.30pm to 3pm
Sea Mills Children’s Centre Fridays 10am to 11.30am
Alternatively you may telephone them on 0117 916 2221.

Chlamydia Screening for 15 – 24 year olds
Sea Mills Surgery has become a collection and distribution
point for the Chlamydia Screening Programme and packs are
available from Reception.
This is an anonymous service run by the Primary Care Trust, all
results and contact tracing are dealt with by the screening
service and NOT the practice. Nothing will be entered into your
clinical record.
If you are aged between 15 – 24 years old please contact
Reception for a pack.
